I AM The Resurrection And The Life

Upon hearing that His friend Lazarus is sick, Jesus waits before traveling to see Him. He arrives in Lazarus’ hometown of Bethany to find that he has died. In the midst of mourning, Jesus declares Himself to be the Resurrection and the Life, bringing His friend back from death. In this statement is not only our hope in the face of dying, but an invitation to trust God’s timing in our lives.
